Song Quote of the Day
This is a song I wrote in high school and one of the first songs I ever sang in front of an audience. My favorite "I Wonder" is the Ray Dee production from radio CJLX in Fort William, Ontario [recorded Nov 23, 1964]. It shows some of the sound of the Buffalo Springfield. It's an early look. It features Bill Edmondson on drums. This recording was made during the Squires second time in Fort William. It's too bad Bill had to leave the group. But he fell in love and got married in Winnipeg. No matter which version of the song "I Wonder" that you hear, you can tell that it is the root song of "Don't Cry No Tears" from the album "Zuma".
